  Simple food served well. Dependable. When I feel under the weather, these soup and sandwich combos cheer me up fast. Price is high, so is quality. Emphasis on "clean food is OK I suppose because without differentiation where would they be? Still I find that nomenclature tiresome when overdone.

  It is a Panera, so it has everything you would expect concerning food and service. Reliability is what they build their reputation on. One of the larger Panera's in a busy location.

  I went to this location within the last hour and saw a cook in an orange hat cooking food with snot dripping from his nose. When I brought this to the attention to the manager Will (wears glasses), he told me that he had a doctor's note to be working. I told him I did not care that he had a doctor's note I did not want his bodily fluids dripping into my food. He told me he would make sure this cook did not handle my order. Not even five minutes later, my order was ready. I was not informed by the manager that my order was ok, I had to go up and ask him, which he replied "Yes" in a nonreassuring tone. I later found out that this cook in the orange hat actually SERVED my boyfriend and I our order. Having worked in the food industry myself, I know what a major health issue this is and the fact this manager did nothing to resolve this matter disgusts me almost as much as the cook who was sick. I normally don't write reviews but after experiencing what I did today I wanted others to be aware of the kind of staff, management, and uncleanliness that occurs at the Lisbon Landing Panera Bread. I will never return to this Panera nor another Panera location ever.

  The food is good but one of the guys making the food, not ours thankfully, was taking his hat on and off and itching his hair and forehead with his gloves on. His name was corbin. Absolutely unsanitary and bums me out because we like to come and eat here almost everytime time we come shopping in lisbon. This Panerai has lost a few customers...at least until more sanitary measures are in put into effect.
